Miss Hailee, who has struggled for some time with the question of how to straddle the pop star world and the actress world with her style choices, seems to have settled into a groove recently. Both of these looks are stylish, on point, and not tacky disasters (which was kind of an issue with her for a while):
Hailee Steinfeld at KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball 2018 in Los Angeles in Roberto Cavalli
Can’t really argue with this for a Jingle Ball appearance. They tend to either be high-fashion stagewear events or totally low-key backstage ones, depending on the artists appearing. She’s got the high-fashion pop star thing going on, even if we do think the tights are weirdly distracting. It all works and it makes for a perfectly on-point rocker-chick Christmas party look. Big sequined sweater and thigh-high stilettos. Can’t go wrong with that.
Hailee Steinfeld at the “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” Photocall in Los Angeles in Acler
Just look at this girl, switching things up like a pro. This is bold and photogenic and chic as hell, but it’s also got a professional sort of undertone to it that works really well for her. That giant sash may be a lot to take, but we think she handles it well and it keeps the look from becoming too serious or business like. It’s got just enough flair and visual interest to make it photo-call perfect. She nailed it with both looks.
