Pop Style Opinionfest: Of Queens and Congresswomen

That’s right, kittens! A lineup of topics near and dear to our hearts, filled to the brim with divas and badass bitches! First, we had to pay homage to Nancy Pelosi serving up one of the biggest fashion stories of the year in her now-iconic Max Mara coat. We talk about what this means in terms of politics and how these sorts of iconic fashion-based moments seem to be happening with greater and greater frequency. Then, we’re off to the queens, first with a short discussion of RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars Season 4, which debuts tonight, including a rundown of the participating queens, some reminiscing about the how the show has changed and why, and a reveal of our plans for covering the season.

Then it’s MOVIE TALK TIME. We have a few more things to say about Mary Poppins Returns (even after our in-depth review of this morning); specifically in response to some of the film’s critics.

And speaking of critics and bitchy opinions, we did NOT like Mary Queen of Scots, much as we wanted to:
