STOP THE PRESSES! CATHY’S IN A BLUE DRESS!
But hey, it’s a cute blue dress, at least:
It’s apparently a recycle, but that’s nothing new. The shocking twist? HER PUMPS DON’T MATCH. Oh, they “go” just fine and in fact, we think the pop of contrast really makes the look. But she’s usually so relentlessly tone-on-tone that this really does come as a pleasant surprise to anyone who obsesses over her style choices.
As we noted yesterday, the Duchess has a pretty strict uniform code; stricter than most royals, in fact. But considering the intensity of the spotlight that shines on her, we understand why she’d want to keep things tightly branded and controlled, even if sometimes the results get a little dully repetitive.
But not here! We think she looks cute.
