Kittens, a bunch of LGBT and LGBT-allied celebs came out in their finest to stand up for folks at a time when they’re feeling the need for solidarity. But mostly to model their finery.
Billy Porter
As much as we applaud the innate fabulosity and queerness of it, this look would be so much better if it was a bit more cohesive. None of the pieces work with the others.
Charlie Carver
Cute but incredibly dull.
Ellen Pompeo in Naeem Khan
We’re not opposed to a little sexy loungewear if it’s done well and the occasion’s right. This is okay.
Joan Collins
She’s a Diva Magnifica no matter what, but the shape of those sleeves is unfortunate.
Matt Bomer
Pretty but also incredibly dull.
Mj Rodriguez in Solace London
Fierce as fuck.
Sean Hayes, Megan Mullally, Debra Messing (in Christian Siriano), and Eric McCormack
The boys are dull, which seems to have been something of a depressing theme for the night. Deb looks dramatic and very much on-brand, but the top knot’s not great. As much as we love how different Megan looks when she’s not Karen Walker, we can’t co-sign the Golden Girls dress or the Minnie Mouse pumps.
Storm Reid in Self-Portrait
Adorable dress, but the drum majorette booties are a big NO.
Yara Shahidi in Tory Burch
Simple, unique and elegant. Could’ve done without the necklace, though.
