Darlings, various other Spider-castmembers and Spider-supportive types came out to support the spider-movie opening. And in typical Marvel movie red carpet fashion, the styles were eye-popping and colorful across the board. Everyone’s a superhero when Disney’s footing the bill.
Except for the tie, this is the exact look we told Ansel Elgort he needed to be wearing the other day. We are more convinced than ever that we were right, looking at the above.

A little too tight all over and the pants are too long, but he’s wearing a teal satin tux and that’s just fun and awesome.
It’s a velvet trenchcoat. Again, we get what they’re going for, but it’s really just a big ol’ velvet trenchcoat. And velvet remains the dumbest trend of summer ’17.
And now, a velvet, fire engine red dress. The TWO worst trends of summer ’17. BONUS: A horrible neckline! Which was the worst trend of spring!

It’s crazy, but it’s also kind of fabulous. Not sure the shoes are the best choice for it, though.
