Emily Blunt attends the American Institute for Stuttering 11th Annual Freeing Voices Changing Lives Benefit Gala at Guastavino’s in New York City.
Why, Miss Emily. It feels like we haven’t judged checked in on you in a dog’s age.
Thank you, Emily, for not only returning to our country’s red carpets, but also for giving us something to look at. Because why wear sleeves when you can have wings, right?
This is an odd little frock. We think those crazy sleeves could work in a sort of “1930s screen siren bias-cut gown” kind of way, but the neckline is too high and restrictive and the hem needs to go all the way to the floor. As it is, the proportions are off. And we never say this, but it should be white for full dramatic effect. Go with the angel thing all the way, we say.
Yes, the summer 2017 bold red style trend continues. We’re not opposed to it, but we’re a little tired of seeing so much of it on the red carpet this month.
