Knowing what we know about her preferences (based on years of assessing her choices), we can see that this gives her everything she wants in a red carpet look (in short: coverage) while remaining sharp and stylish and flattering. Believe us, we’re not saying that anyone has to, but when you dress with the goal of flattering or enhancing your body, it’s all about taking the eye on a trip and guiding it to where you want it to go, which is exactly what this look does. The eye is brought out to the edges by the enhanced shoulders and then brought in by the waist, the leather piping and the way the top skims her hips. The slight taper of the sleeves and the pants ensures that she has a shape. It also helps that the accessories, hair and makeup are all fantastically on point. She looks stylish, beautiful and confident.
