Girl, That’s Not Your Dress: Jennifer Aniston at the “Horrible Bosses 2” Premiere

The first thing to discuss is the fact that she actually wore something worth discussing. Not that we haven’t found things to bitch about over the years, even when she was going through her “sequined bath towel” phase, but this look actually has a few things going on, and that’s both notable and encouraging.

Unfortunately, a lot of what she’s got going on looks like warmed-over Madonna circa 1985 or so. And it doesn’t look like that on the model. Not that it’s a crime to not look like a model, but the dress goes in a totally different direction on Jen’s build. And bear in mind that she’s what? A size 2?

The problems: the waist of the dress is situated nowhere near her own waist, the straps are too far apart on her shoulders, and the bust sits too low, which, combined with the high waist makes her look like she’s sagging when she’s not. The proportions are terrible for her and the overall effect is to make her look blocky. Classic case of Girl, That’s Not Your Dress. Nice try, Jen, but you should pack this one up and ship it off to Kristen Stewart or Lupita, we’re thinking.
