You guys, we don’t want to overstate things – and you know how we hate to appear as excitable sorts, but this might be the most important development in the history of fashion, if not the world.
Brace yourselves. Angie’s wearing lace.

We actually blinked at these pictures for a full minute before we could muster up a reaction. So used to seeing her in shapeless, colorless, personality-free dresses are we that our brains momentarily shut down for a moment. Even now, we’re not sure what we think. It’s very exciting to see her in something with a little pattern and visual interest to it, but we don’t want to over-praise it. Because let’s face it: if, say, Sandra Bullock came out wearing this, our eyes would roll instantly and we’d go off about how sick we are of seeing lace on the red carpet. But for Miss Angelina, this is some serious envelope-pushing and risk-taking. We are giddy with the possibility that she may soon find the nerve to wear a color. If she ever sauntered in front of photographers in a plaid skirt and polka dot blouse, we’d probably faint dead away.
