Here’s what’s disappointing: it’s too much. When Ri wants to go all couture-naked-fab, she tends to show good instincts on the question of how much is too much, generally choosing to follow the rule that if your body is going to be the main draw, then the dress shouldn’t fight with it. Far be it for us to declare ourselves the ultimate arbiter of such things, but this isn’t hot or sexy. It’s just weird and awkward; not just the sheer boobs and sparklenipples, but that odd strip of metallic leather, the shirring and the unflattering waistline, the totally boudoir shoes – it’s all pretty awful. The exploding nips are the least of it.
