Oh BRAVA, Miss Lady.
Sarah Jessica Parker attends the NYC Ballet 2014 Fall Gala in New York City in a Mary Katrantzou embroidered long-sleeved dress from the Fall 2014 collection paired with SJP Collection shoes and Fred Leighton jewelry.
We’ve criticized her a lot for being in a decade-long Carrie Bradshaw-induced style rut, but this just takes our collective breath away. It’s unusual, it’s gorgeously eye-catching, it suits her, and most important of all, IT DOESN’T LOOK LIKE SOMETHING THAT CAME FROM CARRIE BRADSHAW’S ICONIC CLOSET. It looks like the first truly original look she’s sported in years. She looks like a chic-as-hell matryoshka.
It’s a shame it’s a little too long on her. What do we all think of the boots, which came as something of a surprise to us. SJ doesn’t really do boots all that much. We think they fit the folk costume vibe, though. You WERQ that Princess Anastasia shit, girl.
