Boy, when celebrity stylists latch onto a trend, they really drive it into the ground. This summer – or possibly just this month, since you never know whether these things are going to go the distance or not – it’s all about the yellow, pointy-toed pump. We’re right on the verge of being sick of them.

Here’s the thing about this look: we love the top and the skirt, love the shoes, and love the clutch. We just think she’s asking too much of our eyes when she puts them all on at the same time. And we hate making nail color critiques, because it usually comes off so picayune, but since the nails and the shoes are the only colors in the entire look, and since both colors are eye-catching and bright, are we really being all that petty if we point out that they clash with each other?

Her head’s gorgeously styled. We’ll give her that. Love the hoops.
