We think Hermione is giving us the finger, you guys.
Emma Watson attends the “Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2” New York Premiere in a Bottega Veneta Fall 2011 gown.
Because we recently got all up in her face because we thought she was in a style rut and the cute little Rosemary’s Baby getups were getting old. We told her to start looking into sultrier looks and maybe turning the makeup dial past “Fresh and Clean” occasionally. Certainly, this has the luxe, grownup look we were thinking of; it’s a gorgeous dress. But we do have to point out that the bodice looks a skosh too tight on her and we’re not really loving the slicked-up boyhair with this look. But what really got our notice was her makeup, which looks like she turned the dial past “Fresh and Clean” and all the way up to “Cher.” That is a whole lot of eye makeup going on there. In other words, she just may have gone a little too far in the other direction, at least with the eye makeup. It’s just not working, this combination of sleek hair, pale lips, and disco eyes. We like the dress but we’re not crazy about the face.

Zoe Saldana’s poorly accessorized attempt at old-school romance was voted an IN by confused minions with poor eyesight.
