Rihanna stepped out in LA last night after the Smurfs premiere, serving up a very Ri take on an Alaïa design.
The skirt is fun and chic and we think it’s a stylish way to do that thing she loves to do, which is giving her belly some breathing room. The top, on the other hand, feels like a flimsy afterthought that’s not up to the skirt’s level. We much prefer the stiffer, more structured hood of the runway version, since it reflects the similar element in the skirt and it gives the look a more cohesive feel to it.
