Psych! Of course she didn’t! We’ve gotta say, it’s a weird little look. Without the gloves and the cutouts, the sort of Jackie Kennedy-esque socialite elegance really doesn’t suit her. It’s not that we think she’s built for trashier styles, but the sort of conservative tone of the design – cutouts aside – isn’t the best choice for her, we think. That isn’t to say that adding the cutouts and the leather gloves help the look at all. Her style sweet spot is Sexy Ingenue at the moment. Not to pin her down or put her in a box, but that’s way more in line with her career and persona right now than First Lady With An Edge.
