Three professionally pretty people came to New York to serve looks that don’t do a thing for them.

Anne Rice’s Interview with a Vampire stars Jacob Anderson and Sam Reid accompanied their new co-star Delainey Hayes to the Season 2 premiere. We talked a little about the series on our podcast when it first premiered, finding it a worthy adaptation with two extremely hot leads, but we sort of lost track of it since then. We’ll have to catch up. At any rate, these looks aren’t disasters but nobody here is being served all that well.

He’s too cute for such an ill-fitted, conservative style of suit. The whole world of fashion is open to him. There’s no reason to show up dressed for your second cousin’s third wedding.

While the blouse and the pants are pretty stylish each on their own, we don’t think the combo takes all that great a photograph. We get why this trio would want to go a little dark and monochromatic, but that doesn’t mean the choices have to be unphotogenic or uninteresting. We’d have suggest a more goth-crossed-with-southern-gothic approach for all three of them.

Very pretty, very boring.

ABOUT THE SERIES:
– A luxury apartment covering an entire single floor of a high rise. Where the Vampire has granted the interview with the man he once judged to be unworthy. And where the journalist Daniel Molloy has hustled, for a second shot at the interview that got away from him 40 years earlier…
– Based on Anne Rice’s iconic novel, Interview with The Vampire follows Louis’ epic story of love, blood and the perils of immortality, as told to the journalist Daniel Molloy. Chafing at the limitations of life as a black man in 1900’s New Orleans, Louis finds it impossible to resist Lestat’s offer of the ultimate escape: joining him as his vampire companion.
– But Louis’s intoxicating new powers come with a violent price, and the introduction of Lestat’s newest fledgling, the child vampire Claudia, soon sets them on a decades-long path of revenge and atonement. A sensuous, contemporary reinvention of Anne Rice’s revolutionary gothic novel.
