How old is their kid now? Because those are some tired mommy and daddy pusses. It’s a good thing they’re cute.

Stylewise? Well…

He’s fine, actually. The suit fits him very well and we appreciate that he chose a blue shirt. Going tieless in a white shirt sometimes looks like a lawyer on hour 3 of Happy Hour, if you know what we mean. Or half the men at a wedding reception by the time the plates are cleared. Our only minor quibble is that the hem is a skosh on the long side.

We love the rose print on her dress, but we really don’t like the black lace over it; at least not the way it’s applied. It kinda looks like she’s wearing some sort of brace or girdle on the outside of the dress. The lighting is so different from picture to picture but her makeup’s looking a little harsh under the glare.

We’ll tell you something, though. There’s exactly one reason why we absolutely never want to be the kind of bloggers who pal around with celebrities. When it comes to things like Fashion Week and various event invitations, we think we do a pretty good job of hanging back and observing the celeb scene rather than engaging it. And Jenna, bless her heart, is the reason why. She’s one of the very few celebs we’ve ever introduced ourselves to, at a Marchesa show during NYFW, and that’s because she asked us to. The other one was Colton Haynes and that’s because, well, Colton Haynes. We kinda lost our senses momentarily. Anyway, she was absolutely a doll, had a great sense of humor, and told us she reads us every day. It was everything you’d want a celeb meet-up to be.

And now we find it EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to criticize her style choices. Hey, we’re just being honest. Once you airkiss them and they tell you they love your work, it’s really hard to say mean things about their dresses. Interestingly enough, a PR rep for a major house recently showed us an email from someone we cover here a lot, lightly complaining that we never say nice things about her style. In that case,  it made us laugh and decide to keep the pressure on (she sometimes needs it). But face-to-face interactions, where they actually tell you they read you a lot? And they’re so sweet about it? Oooof. How do you go from that to telling them that they look like they’re wearing their underwear outside their dress? It’s hard out there for a blogger, we’re telling ya.

So we hope you’re happy, Jenna Dewan-Tatum. You’ve ruined us by being so nice. Now we’ll never get to party with celebrities.

Bitch.

EDITED TO ADD: And to prove our point, here’s Jenna, being totally Jenna (because we’re so very on a first-name basis):

This is AFTER WE CALLED HER A BITCH. See what we mean? Very clever, girl. Shut down our bitchery with kindness.
