Taylor’s really improved her poledancing style by leaps and bounds lately. Whoever makes the style decisions seems to have realized that simple shapes rendered starkly is one of the best ways to go for her. Which is why we’re digging everything below the neck here:
“Orange Is The New Black” actress Taylor Schilling attends Netflix’s Academy Panel “Women Ruling TV” at Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood, California in an A.L.C. white dress paired with a Rebecca Minkoff clutch, Casadei pink heels, and Ryan Storer earrings.
It’s nothing earth-shattering, and we wish the waist was defined a little better and the shoes actually fit her, but for the most part, this all works. Except for the VPL, of course.
What does not work – at least not for us – is the “circa 1994 Madonna” head. Especially those Sharpie brows. Ooof, girl. Tone those things down. We kinda like the hair, though. And the earring. But it does kind of look like the airbrush gun was set too high. Maybe it’s the lips instead of the brows that need to be toned down. Maybe they both do – although we would’ve thought that she was one of those ladies, like Kristen Stewart, who can handle an astonishing amount of makeup without looking overdone. Either way, she’s got big eyes, symmetrical features, smooth skin, and pale coloring. Difficulty setting: ZERO. The entire makeup industry is geared toward her. It shouldn’t be that hard to get her face right.
