This feels like a summer ensemble for someone who has no idea how to enjoy summer.

It’s definitely not helped by that hairstyle, but everything here looks so structured and serious to our eyes. Except for maybe the shoes. But the top and the shorts, while interesting, don’t exactly combine to make for a breezy look. Which is fine; nothing wrong with a lady who’s got a serious streak in her. Dressing girly and flirty isn’t for everyone, after all. We suppose we want some “striking” to be evident somewhere if you’re going to go the serious route. This just isn’t hitting our buttons on that front. We suspect we’d like both pieces much better paired with something else.

As for the bag, it was handed to her by a publicist ten seconds before the flashes went off. Or it looks like it, anyway.
