Emma Roberts in Chloé at the “Fool’s Fête” Spring Dance

Here’s another instance of us trying really, really hard to like something. What’s up with that? We’ve been staring at it for 20 minutes, trying to find something nice to say. Sometimes, darlings, we just don’t recognize ourselves anymore.

We need to eat a hearty bowl of Bitcheeos every morning, as part of a healthy breakfast. We’re getting soft.

She’s one of those gals who, if she asked our advice, we’d say, “Just style it like the look book or the runway. Don’t get cute.” We don’t like this dress because a white sheer over black is never going to look like anything but a mistake to us. It looks like she’s wearing a lobster bib with delusions of grandeur. But she actually made it worse by pairing it with those shoes. They’re too clunky and focus-pulling paired with a dress that’s already demanding quite a bit of your focus. We’d scrap the whole look, but if she feels she must wear the dress, then the standard pump is probably the way to go here.
