The Running Man star Glen Powell lucked out by getting booked on what will be the most-discussed if not most viewed episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live for all time. Granted, everyone came for Jimmy’s monologue after being taken off the air, but Glen made sure to show up looking like a movie star in case anyone was still watching after that.
Here we see the power of just being really good-looking at play, because we can’t stand dress shirts matching their jackets and we tend to dislike black dress pants with contrasting sports coats and yet… he looks damn good. Granted, he’d look damn good in an outfit we’d like as well as an outfit we’d hate much more than this one, so it’s perhaps beside the point, but still. As much as we’d have liked a contrasting shirt, that blue looks amazing on him. It all looks a little oddly wrinkled and unkempt, though. That seems strange for him and for Tom Ford. In semi-related news, we’re kind of glad to see the end of the whimsical dress socks trend. It started getting to the point where every guy looked like a children’s TV show host. We don’t mind a contrasting sock – and we think he could’ve benefitted from one here – but we’re happy to see fewer polka dots and space ships down there lately.
