Celia Imrie, Ben Kingsley, Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan, the cast of The Thursday Murder Club, all got together at the British Library in London for the latest photo call. Between this and the Wednesday photo call at the Museum of Natural History last month, we’re starting to think that our years of making fun of people for posing on rooftops in London has finally paid off with real change that you can believe in. We do it all for you, darlings. Just making the world prettier and more fabulous in whatever little ways we can. You’re welcome. Now let’s get judgey.

Well this kinda sucks. They all look great. Pierce is pretty much perfect, head to toe, but we’ll do our best to nitpick the others. Celia looks great and we love the top. We’d have liked the pants more if they matched. Ben is wearing way too much blue at once (although this seems to have been a coordinated choice for all of them) and none of them go all that well with the others. Nice shoes, though. We love Helen’s dress and shoes, but we don’t think they should be worn at the same time.
ABOUT THE MOVIE:
Based on Richard Osman’s international bestselling novel of the same name, The Thursday Murder Club follows four irrepressible retirees – Elizabeth (Helen Mirren), Ron (Pierce Brosnan), Ibrahim (Ben Kingsley) and Joyce (Celia Imrie) – who spend their time solving cold case murders for fun. When an unexplained death occurs on their own doorstep, their casual sleuthing takes a thrilling turn as they find themselves with a real whodunit on their hands. Directed by Chris Columbus, the film is the latest to be produced through the Netflix and Amblin Entertainment partnership.
