The stars came out to serve up a little hotness at the West End opening night of Evita. Let’s assess the style efforts of these patrons of the theatre.
Hayley Atwell
Ma’am, you absolutely had us until we got to those dumbass shoes. The whole outfit has such a cool vibe and it’s so well-accessorized and styled, from the frames to the jewelry, but those silly things on her feet come close to ruining it. Girl, this outfit practically begged for some boots.
Jessica Alba
The dress is fine, but let’s face it, your eye went straight to the bag and the shoes. Nothing wrong with a plain dress, but pairing overly quirky accessories with it tends to render it invisible.
Sarah Paulson and Pedro Pascal
America’s coolest gay mom and dad are here.
She looks like she’s about to get baptized. While we wouldn’t place this among our favorite of her red carpet looks, we like how it manages to be big and weird in the way that she tends to prefer, but it’s also relatively simple and easy to wear for a summer red carpet that has nothing to do with her. We’re surprised to admit that we think the shoes are kind of cute, but that bag looks weird with the dress.
We LOVE this and we get the distinct impression he’s not going to be dressing in Disney-approved outfits for the Fantastic Four promo tour.
