2025 Sundance Film Festival: The Sweater Boys

As we noted earlier in the week, the Sundance Film Festival isn’t a time or place for the usual celebrity style tropes. You won’t see many gowns, sequins or sandals in Park City. What you will see is a lot of comfy cold-weather wear, which means all of the celebrity dudes who hate getting dressed up for pictures are currently in their glory. Hit it, sweater boys.

A classic style in a boldly unexpected and highly photogenic color. Looks great.

He looks very pleased with himself and we don’t blame him. The sweater’s really cute and the whole look is well coordinated.

Proof that no one should ever be tucking sweaters into dress pants, no matter how thin the sweater or the wearer. It just looks odd to us. This whole look, while a little boringly monochromatic, would work so much better if he untucked.

The man’s got real style. He can make drawstring pants and a visible undershirt look low-key chic.

Can’t go wrong with a classic cardi. We’d have recommended a more interesting color for the shirt.

The look is boring, but the color looks great on him, which makes up for a lot.

Once again, we have to beg the celebrity dudes to stop tucking in their sweaters. This would look so much better if he pulled that thing out. Also, we’re not convinced white pants were the best choice here.

Another boring outfit helped out by a decent sweater in a great color. You’d think celebrity guys would wear sweaters more often, given how easy they are to style and wear.
