Megatron and Optimus Prime put on some nice suits and posed for pictures. Transformer One stars Brian Tyree Henry and Chris Hemsworth probably didn’t call each other up to coordinate their outfits ahead of time for the New York premiere, but we like to think they did.
Which isn’t to suggest that they’re particularly matchy; just that they look good together and they’re on the same level, sartorially speaking. Hemsworth looks great and it pains us to say that because he also looks like he took about 5 minutes to get ready. Put a Transformers movie premiere isn’t the time to get huffy about effort levels. He’s dressed exactly right for this venue. Brian’s looks are always more curated and thoughtful than the average guy on the red carpet, but we think he was smart to keep everything fairly low-key. Having said that, we really dislike the cut of that Nana jacket. The cropped length and large buttons don’t look that great to us, but it might have been improved if he’d buttoned it.
