Those wacky Sex and the City gals are out on the street in goofy outfits once again. Sarah Jessica Parker and Kristin Davis were seen shooting scenes for the upcoming third season of And Just Like That… in New York yesterday.
Just so you know, we’re sighing. Heavily and dramatically. Kristen’s costume is super-cute and it actually feels like something Charlotte would wear at this stage in her life. Some of our complaints about the costume design on this show comes down to the choice to dress all of the main characters in the kinds of eye-popping fashion that Carrie always favored. Charlotte was a preppy, Lily Pulitzer gal through and through. This tracks. As for Miss Havisham over there, we just roll our eyes. The bizarre thing is that you could easily find countless women in Manhattan with similar resumes/backstories as Carrie. They don’t dress like this. Sixty-year-old former Vogue writers who married wealthy finance dudes do not go around New York City dressed they’re on their way to Ascot. They just don’t. Who IS this chick?
