We’ve been saying that the cast members of Zola would be well advised to work some loud, maybe even weird, Tacky Chic sorts of looks right out of the promo gate; not because we think that actors need to dress in character for the red carpet, but we wouldn’t think this the sort of film that calls for prestige-cinema, Oscar-style formalwear (even if it is more than likely to hit the awards track hard later this year). For now, it feels like the right thing to do to hit the publicity trail in really loud fashion that generates buzz in the same way the film has. But in Dolman’s case, we also think he should be working this exact style as often as he likes because he has an amazing knack for making it look GQ-cover chic. He looks stunning (the grooming is flawless) and the accessory choices really take the look to another level.
