Kittens, we are extremely pleased to hear that this film is getting great buzz and reviews, with the consensus being that it’s a lot of fun. Which proves once again that DC Comics does so much better on film when they give anyone but Batman and Superman some space to breathe.
We are also extremely pleased to note that these ladies are having a lot of fun on the red carpet while remaining distinct unto themselves and still coming across like a unified team.
Jurnee Smollett-Bell in Guy Laroche
This is completely cray of course, but it’s so damn drag-queen fun and fabulous that we can’t get mad at it. Besides, this film calls for a little drag and a little cray in the promo style. Is it a little tacky as well? Sure, but again, we argue that makes it even more on point. We’re glad she chose some sort of blouse to go over that bandeau, but we’re not convinced this is the best style for that skirt.
Rosie Perez
Miss Rosie, keeping it comfy, classic, and minimalist chic. Her hair and makeup look great. We just wish she’d worn one statement piece of jewelry.
Mary Elizabeth Winstead in Zuhair Murad Couture
Bringing the drama.
Margot Robbie in Dries Van Noten
Okay, addendum to our point earlier about how this event calls for cray: there’s a point at which you can take it too far. This looks like it was designed by committee — of monkeys.
Ella Jay Brasco in Meehee Hanbok
LOVELOVELOVE. She looks adorable and fabulous.
