Granted, she seems pretty happy at the moment and she did manage to pick vaguely kickass footwear, but we like our Pope Tilda when she’s exhibiting a cool or colorful exuberance. When she’s wearing a greige parachute? Not so much. Still, we can’t say this is out of character for her. She likes to play with form and volume and she also likes to indulge in a preference for neutrals now and then. It’s just that this form has too much volume and this neutral is kind of ugly. But hey, it’s big and obnoxious and we’ll always love a ladystar who’s not afraid to throw elbows and take up space with her fashion.
