Don’t ever change, HBC.
Granted, considering how consistently she sticks to her style preferences, we don’t think she ever will. Although if we were being a hundred percent fair about things, we used to (rather accurately, we think) describe her aesthetic as “Victorian Streetwalker.” She’s actually moved a bit away from the steampunk styles. If anything, her look here is more punk than steampunk. There’s definitely a feel of ’80s downtown clubwear in the look – which is interesting, because most of the time, the conventional wisdom is to steer middle-aged wearers away from the redux styles of their youth, but this is so right for her, and so in line with years of style preferences, that it actually works.
