Okay, fine. This isn’t bad.
“Girls” star Allison Williams attends screening of “Wish I Was Here” at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater in New York City in Altuzarra.
If that sounds begrudging, it’s because it is begrudging. She’s been hitting the red carpets of the world in boring, too-mature outfits from the second she got a little attention. We’ve always found her aesthetic as dull as dishwater; bordering on inappropriate for her image and career. And while this isn’t exactly pushing any envelopes or wowing us with its drop-dead chic, it is a pretty great look for her. We feel like we’re saying this a lot lately, but we would have brought the hem up an inch or two and indulged in the yellow or pink pump mini-trend we’ve been seeing all summer. “Pop of color” is a cliche sometimes, but this is definitely an outfit that could have benefited from it.
Still, it’s a great “summer in the city” look. Not particularly exciting, but not something straight out of Charlotte York-Goldenblatt’s closet either.
