Priyanka Chopra Jonas continued her gem-modeling duties after her cohorts Dua Lipa and Anne Hathaway were sent home, possibly for not understanding the assignment. But it turns out Miss Priyanka knows how to dress to model some big, obnoxious jewelry and she did it again on her second gig with Bulgari this week.

Far be it for us to impose dressing rules on an event we’d never attend in a million years, but it seems to us, if you’re being tasked with showing off outrageous piles of gemstones and you’re famous, you need to find a dress that complements the jewelry, looks good on you, but doesn’t distract from the point of the appearance. We only like this dress, not love it, but we think it’s a perfect choice. The colors coordinate well with the jewelry without being matchy, but nothing she’s wearing is so fussy or focus-pulling that it takes your eyes away from that necklace. The wrap is a fun take on all of those tired opera coats and marabou feather boas. She looks great.
