They keep trotting the Stranger Things cast members out, which is not something Netflix tends to do once a show has finished its run for them. We wonder if they’re trying to drum up future awards consideration. At any rate, we have to amend something we said the other day when we featured Sadie Sink making her Tonight Show appearance: she’s not the only one who’s got the goods to take her career far. Maya Hawke may be a nepo baby, but she’s easily the most watchable member of that cast and may just be the best actor of the bunch.
But she’s always had a fairly goofy sense of style, which she probably got from her dad. The suit is probably the most conventional thing she’s ever worn, but she paired it with those goofy-ass pumps. The current trend for ’80s lady lawyer footwear is so disappointing. What really makes the look are the braids, which are adorable and unexpected. They’re probably the only thing anyone remembers about her appearance here.
