Before we put the Governors Awards 2025 coverage to bed with one final rundown (after milking the content for all its worth), we figured we’d give you one more high end look upon which to vent your fury to vote on. The Chronology of Water director and long-time Chanel brand ambassador Kristen Stewart ditched the brand and hit the red carpet in an unusual Rodarte.

It’s unusual both for her and for the brand because neither of them have a long history of going for simple and sleek designs like this. We absolutely loathe the lace trim around the bustline, but that’s the only complaint about the design that we have. The lace panels are somewhat oddly placed, but we like how they evoke angel wings without being literal about it. We probably won’t get a lot of agreement on this point, but we think the white shoes lend it a modernity that she sorely needs in her style. Having said that, we’re not sure her usual punk-inspired makeup works with this sort of look. Basically, we like this for her, but it needs slightly different styling. That’s us. And you?
