It’s been kind of interesting watching Christy star Sydney Sweeney navigate the past several months of scrutiny by careening wildly between two styles that sit in opposition to each other: sex siren and prestige good girl actress. For the Governors Awards, she wisely opted for the latter style, but it seems like no matter which direction she goes in, her boobs are always the highlight of the look.
It’s an absolutely gorgeous gown, perfectly fitted and in a classic mode that suits her and works well with the hairstyle. Why it was decided to hang streamers on her boobs eludes us. It’s an incredibly dumb element that does nothing but detract and distract.
