Queen Max gets one right! If that’s not cause for banging a gong, then we don’t know what is. Queen Maxima opened the twentieth edition of Beursvloer Tilburg Fair Trade in a bright, sassy Oscar de la Renta dress.
We tend to think a dress like this is hard to get wrong because it calls for so little in accessorizing and the color choices for doing so couldn’t be more obvious. We’re happy to see her wearing her hair up, but we get paid the big bucks (figuratively speaking) to be nitpicky bitches, so here goes: The hat looks more appropriate for cold weather and a coat than something to be worn with a dress. Also, we think if she’s going to wear sheer tights with this, they should probably be black. But still, this is a pretty great look all around.
