The cast of Train Dreams joined director Clint Bentley on the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival premiere. They were all on good style behavior, we’re happy to report.

This is a great look for him and we love the shoe choice. It’s so nice to see a tie-free dress shirt that’s been starched enough to stand on its own.

Meh. It’s not the worst version of this style that we’ve ever seen, but it’s still kind of drab. At the very least, a black sheer top would have been an improvement.

We hate the apron-style bodice, but that’s the only critique we have. This is gorgeous, chic and impeccable. The color looks great on her and she’s clearly loving those pockets. We tend to think that hairstyle is wildly over-deployed on the red carpet, but it and the subtle earrings were the right styling choice here. This dress shouldn’t be fighting with anything for attention.

Joel, your suit is entirely too large.
