The cast of Frankenstein came to the Toronto International Film Festival to serve up highly coordinated Spooky Chic. Let’s see if we can make one of them cry with our harsh judgments.

Suddenly, everyone’s wearing shades on the red carpet. We get it. It’s hard to look bad in a pair of killer sunglasses. But we do think sometimes it looks a little pretentious. Regardless, we know we’re not gonna get any support for that position with these examples, because he looks smoking hot in every picture. No notes. Love the unexpected shades of the shirt and tie.

The dress is simple and pretty. It’s hard to get a look like this wrong, so kudos to her team for picking the wrong necklace. It’s a gorgeous necklace, but it doesn’t go with a halter neckline.

He’s a big boy who likes a roomy suit. It’s fine, but the shoes look a little beat up.

We love that he really went for it. If you’re sixteen and standing on a red carpet with Oscar Isaac and Jacob Elordi, why wouldn’t you want to bring your A game. He looks amazing, but the shades would like ridiculously pretentious on anyone older than him.

ABOUT THE MOVIE:
Oscar-winning director Guillermo del Toro (Pinocchio, Cabinet of Curiosities, The Shape of Water) adapts Mary Shelley’s classic tale of Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant but egotistical scientist who brings a creature to life in a monstrous experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation.

Joining that main trio are Felix Kammerer (All Quiet on the Western Front), Lars Mikkelsen (The Witcher, Ahsoka), David Bradley (Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, the Harry Potter films), Christian Convery (Sweet Tooth), with Charles Dance (Game of Thrones, Mank) and Christoph Waltz (Inglourious Basterds, Django Unchained).
