Angelina Jolie came to the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of her new film Couture and you’ll never guess what she wore! Unless you guess “something brown and plain,” in which case, you are to be commended on your deep well of Angeline Jolie lore.
Just the ultimate in “resting on pretty,” bringing “doing the bare minimum” down to an even more depressing level. Gabriela Hearst may call that thing a dress, but it’s quite clearly a coat. And look, we’re all for ladystars being comfortable on red carpets. We’ve never suggested that Angie should be wearing corsets and shapewear. We’d be perfectly happy if she’d just enter caftan era. She could, if she wanted to, make them super-trendy again just by making them her go-to. This looks like you’re escaping a hotel fire, not promoting your latest project.
