Falcone Restaurant – Hong Kong, China
There is entirely too much happening in the world and we are currently surfing a wave of entirely too much red carpetry, which is why we feel the need for a LOunge that’s just a weensy bit extra. It’s TUESDAY. Let’s drown ourselves in distracting stimuli.
Selena Gomez Is in Rare Form
For anyone under the age of 30, it’s probably hard to remember a time when Selena Gomez wasn’t on your screen or in your earbuds. Gomez, now 33, was born in Grand Prairie, Texas, and landed a spot on Barney & Friends at age 10. But her big break was at 14, when Disney came calling and she was cast as teen wizard Alex Russo in Wizards of Waverly Place. The show ran for four seasons; Gomez was 19 when the finale aired.
Since then, Gomez has released chart-topping songs like “Hands to Myself” and “Lose You to Love Me” and taken her acting talents to bigger screens, in films like Spring Breakers and, more recently, Emilia Pérez. She earned a Golden Globe nomination for the latter, the same year she received her third nomination for Only Murders in the Building.
Where Will The White Lotus Season Four Take Place in France? A Glamorous Shortlist
Breaking news (well, for a certain subset of people anyway): The White Lotus season four will take place in France.
But where, exactly? That is still unconfirmed—and France, famously the world’s most visited country, has a number of high-profile tourist destinations that would make a juicy setting for the hit HBO show. However, just as in prior seasons, we do know that it will likely be filmed at a Four Seasons hotel. (The show and the luxury hotel group now have an official partnership.)
For us prestige TV sleuths, that narrows it down quite a bit: there are only three Four Seasons located in the European country. So without further ado, the shortlist of locations.
What to wear to a job interview in any industry
The best interview attire decoded — whether you’re walking into a law firm, a media hub, or your bedroom with a ring light.
Knowing what to wear to a job interview is important, no matter the industry. Because before you even speak, your interview outfit is already doing the talking. Whether it’s in person or virtual, your appearance sends a message. What’s it saying? Ideally, that you understand the company culture, respect the dress code, and are fluent in the art of making a good first impression.
But confidence doesn’t just come from looking the part — it comes from feeling like yourself in what you wear. “A person needs to feel comfortable in their outfit, first and foremost,” says Marissa Elias, a senior manager in talent acquisition. “Because if they are not comfortable, they won’t be their best self and confident during the interview.”
We answer every burning question you have about Unknown Number on Netflix
Here’s everything you’re probably asking yourself after finishing the streamer’s jaw-dropping documentary.
Netflix has become known for creating documentaries about unbelievable true crime stories, but Unknown Number may just take the cake.
Unknown Number: The High School Catfish, which premiered on the streamer on 29 August, tells the story of a cyberbullying and catfishing case that consumed the small town of Beal City in Michigan. In 2020, 13-year-old Lauryn Licari and her middle-school boyfriend, Owen McKenny, started getting constant graphic and disturbing messages from an unknown number out of the blue.
Indie sleaze: the ultimate trend guide, according to the era’s muses
See how to wear Gen Z’s favourite trend, from the era’s OG it girls.
If you want to dabble in indie sleaze, look no further for the trend guide to rule all trend guides.
After what feels like the never-ending, noughts-inspired Y2K and McBling trends (think Paris Hilton with tiny bags and tinier crop tops), young people have shifted their sights onto ‘indie sleaze.’ If you haven’t heard this phrase yet, you almost certainly know the reference: think the infamous 2007 photo of Kate Moss leaning out of a balcony, cigarette in mouth, as then-boyfriend Pete Doherty (of The Libertines) plays the guitar.
While it certainly wasn’t known by that label at the time, indie sleaze roughly encapsulates the years from 2006 to 2012. The culture was heavily influenced by British bands and their groupies, and music festivals like Glastonbury. Famous rockstar girlfriends like Kate Moss and Alexa Chung led the way in style, and the big Topshop on Oxford Circus was a fashion cornerstone. “The fashion was hipster subculture, performatively vintage, mixing 70s, 80s and grunge,” writes Glamour UK’s Emily Maddick, who saw the scene firsthand. The era was defined by indie rock music, as well as copious partying and the consumption of alcohol, drugs and cigarettes. (Vapes were not yet widespread.)

Just in time for autumn
If you’re feeling as though a new TikTok beauty trend is emerging almost every day, you’re not wrong. We’ve had clean girl makeup, ghost lashes, and jam lips captivate consumers as of late, and the buzzy 2025 beauty trends aren’t quite finished yet. The day for chronic oversleepers has finally come, and ‘Tired Girl’ makeup has entered the fore.
Packaging up a lifestyle and selling it as the latest craze is nothing new, so it comes as no surprise that eye bags (and the products to mimic them) are becoming coveted. Although I can appreciate the slight ridiculousness of making yourself look tired on purpose, my love for messy smokey eyes and penchant for sleeping in at every given opportunity means the Tired Girl appeal is all too clear to me.

On the 2025 runways, we spotted the bomber jacket everywhere from Saint Laurent and Khaite to Stella McCartney; but it was actually the crowd outside the shows who made the strongest case. Or Gigi Hadid in a black bomber and a beanie outside of Miu Miu back in February? And, lest we forget, Donna Wallace, Alexandra Carl, Jourdan Dunn, and Elizabeth von der Goltz, all spotted lingering between appointments in the jacket du jour.

A Rare Collection of Jane Austen’s Possessions Is Going Up for Auction
The Sotheby’s sale will include one of her very few remaining letters in existence.
Jane Austen interest is reaching a fever pitch as we near the 250th anniversary of the lauded author’s birth this December. The latest development is that Sotheby’s is auctioning off three extremely rare letters penned by Austen to her sister, Cassandra.
The collection, titled “By a Lady,” which was the pseudonym Austen used for her first published novel, Sense and Sensibility, will be sold on October 15 in New York, and is touted to be Sotheby’s “first-ever auction dedicated to the women who, alongside Austen, have shaped literary and artistic culture across the decades.” Leading the sale is a letter written to her sister Cassandra in 1805, detailing the social life of Bath that later informed Persuasion, estimated at $300,000 to $400,000. For some Austenites, what might be most intriguing about this letter is not necessarily the contents of the letter, but the recipient. By all accounts, Cassandra and Jane were very close. Their mother allegedly once remarked, “if Cassandra’s head had been going to be cut off, Jane would have hers cut off too.”
How Ragtime Became the Show of the Moment
Is the Lincoln Center Theater revival a musical event or a history lesson? When done this well, it’s both.
“I want to make theater that matters,” says Lear deBessonet, “work that invites a wide audience to experience the richest possibilities of what live theater can be.” It’s no wonder, then, that deBessonet picked Ragtime, the 1996 musical about the pursuit of the American Dream—and the harsh realization of American reality—by a group of early-20th-century characters, for her first production as Lincoln Center Theater’s new Kewsong Lee Artistic Director. “Ragtime,” she says, “felt like the perfect way to begin my tenure.”
That may be partly because she knows it works. Previously staged as a gala presentation at New York City Center, this Ragtime revival, directed by deBessonet, features Joshua Henry as Coalhouse Walker Jr., a Harlem musician; Caissie Levy as Mother, a New Rochelle matriarch; and Brandon Uranowitz as Tateh, a Jewish immigrant from Latvia recently arrived in New York City. The New York Times called the production “exhilarating.” (Other characters are nonfictional, including Harry Houdini, Booker T. Washington, Evelyn Nesbit, and more.)
The Fall 2025 Handbag Trends to Know Now—Suede, Top Handles, and Early-Aughts Revivals
When we look at the handbags presented in the fall 2025 collections, a sense of stylish practicality runs throughout. Mostly all of the shapes are roomy enough for everyday wear, (so long micro bags!), and there was a lot of modern references to classic silhouettes. Perhaps it was the personality-infused styling, or the bounty of textural elements in the clothing, which led to uncomplicated and sensible handbags as companions.
Feminine top-handle styles from the ’50s and ’60s get the Muccia treatment at Miu Miu for a modern spin, while a blast past from the past—Chloé’s early 2000s Paddington—returns, fresher and more relevant than ever. Even the classic smooth leather crossbody got a chance to be considered “on trend,” courtesy of the new Calvin Klein Collection. (Time to break out those old Céline box bags!) Additionally, we saw a handful of shapes carry over from last year, including suede and doctor bag styles, proving out the longevity of the investment. Those looking for more novelty to tote around this fall might enjoy the vanity cases and tidy little boxes from Hermès and Victoria Beckham. They certainly piqued our interest as an elegant new shape, whether you wear it for evening or display it atop your dresser.
Ed Sheeran Turned His New Album Into Ice Cream — Here’s Where to Try It
The limited-edition flavor is just as pink as the album cover.
How do you make music multisensory? You might look at album art or a poster while listening, or you could translate a new album into something you can literally taste.
Ed Sheeran’s upcoming eighth studio album, Play, debuts Friday, September 12, and the four-time Grammy Award winner is launching a sweet sample of the latest addition to his discography a few days in advance with an ice cream brand you know and love.
On September 10, Sheeran and New York City-based ice cream chain Van Leeuwen are releasing Play Pink ice cream, a limited-edition flavor inspired by the British artist’s new album. Just like the album’s cover, the new ice cream flavor features a vivid pink hue. But that’s not the only reference it makes to Sheeran’s music.
Taraji P. Henson Uncorks A Bold New Red Blend In Her Wine Boss Era
The actress and entrepreneur has several successful products under her belt and her latest collab with Seven Daughters may be another one.
Taraji P. Henson is back shaking up the wine world. Again. The actress and entrepreneur is partnering with Seven Daughters again to launch a new product: the Seven Daughters Sweet Red Blend. As we step into the fall entertaining season, Henson’s latest launch feels timely.
Fresh off the success of her Seven Daughters Moscato relaunch in November, which is now the fastest-growing Moscato on the market, the multi-hyphenate artist is giving us another reason to raise our glasses.
For Henson, this is more than a business deal, it’s personal. She was inspired to work with the brand following a transformative trip to Italy that rekindled her love of Italian wines. And after integrating herself into the development process of the wine, she helped co-create a product that tells a story about who she is and what she values. She continues to do so with the red varietal.
Ayo Edebiri responds to interview question about MeToo and Black Lives Matter that excluded her: ‘I don’t think it’s done’
The Emmy winner was joined by “After the Hunt” costars Julia Roberts and Andrew Garfield during a chat at Venice Film Festival, when the tense moment occurred.
Ayo Edebiri turned an attempt to exclude her from a question about the state of the industry into a lesson in owning the moment and how the work is truly never done.
The tense press moment occurred during a chat with ArtsLife TV at the Venice Film Festival for Luca Guadagnino’s new film, After the Hunt, in which Edebiri stars alongside Julia Roberts and Andrew Garfield.
“What have we lost in the politically correct era, and what we have to expect in Hollywood after the #MeToo movement and the Black Lives Matter are done?” asked Italian journalist Federica Polidoro, specifying that her question was only for Garfield and Roberts.

This Utah State Park Is a Less-crowded Alternative to Nearby National Parks—and It Was Named After How Photogenic It Is
Here’s what to know about visiting Kodachrome Basin State Park.
Utah’s natural beauty is legendary; following California and Alaska, it’s the state with the most national parks. While the “Mighty Five”—Bryce Canyon, Arches, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands, and Zion—are all visually impressive in their own right (to say the least), they’re not the only parks you should check out during a Utah road trip. In fact, there’s an incredible 2,240-acre park just down the road from Bryce Canyon that offers a similar experience, just with fewer fellow visitors. From July 2024 through July 2025, Kodachrome Basin State Park saw just under 180,000 visitors, while Bryce Canyon gets nearly 2.5 million visitors annually.
