Shailene Woodley came to the Sustainable Fashion Awards in Milan. We don’t know if her gown qualifies as sustainable (which is a deliberately amorphous term anyway, especially in regards to fashion), but it sure does look annoying as hell to wear.
We’re itchy just looking at it, but at least she’ll be of use if anyone there had a sudden bottle-cleaning emergency. We don’t know… for the most part, it’s an unobjectionable design. Sure, the feather effect is wildly overdone and tends to make it look overdesigned if not downright painful to wear, but we don’t necessarily think she looks bad in it. The jewelry is nice, but the hair looks kind of awful to us. We’re feeling pretty ambivalent about the whole thing, although we know there’s a part of us that’s supposed to hate all that fringe. We’re turning this one over to you.
