The Naked Gun star Pamela Anderson came to the Deauville American Film Festival to serve looks and to pick up a Deauville Talent Award. We are delighted by the previous sentence, which would have sounded ludicrous just a couple of years ago.

This might just be the best look we’ve seen her wear in years. She’s been trying to figure out her public style during this period and we think the combination of her preference for a clean face and her love of traditionally ladylike styles should lead her right up to this: Hitchcock Blonde. She’d do well to continue to take her inspiration from that style because it suits her well, it lends her an air of prestige, and it’s not the kind of look that asks for a heavily made-up face. She also needs to keep wearing dark colors because they serve her very well.

Case in point. Had this been a white dress or any other pale color, we might have made a point to complain about the clean face, but like so many pale people, what she needs most for pictures isn’t color, it’s contrast. This works well because it’s so simple and so flattering. Having said that we HATE that boob bow and we think she should’ve worn a pendant.
