So what do we think, kittens? Has Ayo Edibri reached her final form of stardom? The star of After the Hunt hit the Venice Film Festival red carpet premiere looking more like a movie star than she ever has before.
The lady has definitely arrived and we love seeing her looking so polished and glam. When she first hit it big after The Bear premiered, she had the typical comedian’s approach to public style, choosing quirky over chic more often than not. We, being the prissy and judgmental sorts that we are, urged her to embrace a more sophisticated style as soon as possibly because we could tell how high her star was likely to rise and she needed to be dressed for that ascension. Did she listen to us? Hell, no. She listened to the people she pays to dress her, which is much smarter. She looks fantastic and even though we had nothing to do with it, we’re going to take a victory lap anyway.
