The stylish cast of Wednesday — or three of them, anyway — continues to bless us with red carpet content on the interminable tour promoting season two and we once again thank them for their efforts, especially since such efforts include getting dressed up in really high fashion looks to go stand in a parking lot in Sydney.
Fortunately, they were allowed to go inside and mingle with the fans. It’s not a strict red carpet-style event, so we’ll just do some quick driveby judgments:
Gwendoline will never go wrong when she wants to go the stern headmistress route in her style. It’s a look she was born to work and it looks fantastic on her, but we can understand why she doesn’t go to this well too often. Jenna and her team are very good about finding the punk and rocker chick vibes that were always simmering under the surface of Wednesday Addams. The results never feel like cosplay, but always feel appropriate for the promotion while also selling her as a viable star separate from the role. It’s good style work. This coat is weirdly gorgeous on her. Emma is in preciously dark mode. The sweater’s great but the corset-style top isn’t needed.
