You know what? We’re kinda swamped with Venice content and a podcast at the moment, so we’re just gonna let Miss Netflix Press Release have the floor to give you the details.

The Doom Tour came to a deadly conclusion in New York tonight where Netflix and Spotify gave Wednesday Season 2 Part 2 a fittingly spooky celebration, inviting 300 fans, influencers, and press — including top Gaga and Wednesday listeners on Spotify — to Guastavino’s in New York City for a Graveyard Gala.

Alongside Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers and Joy Sunday, Lady Gaga announced a brand-new song “The Dead Dance,” that will be featured in Wednesday Season 2. Guests were invited to step inside bespoke coffins for an exclusive first listen to a snippet of the electrifying new single.

The Grammy, Oscar, and Emmy-winning pop icon herself explains to Tudum.com, “I’m thrilled to release this song alongside Wednesday. I’m a huge fan of the show and had so much fun appearing in it to support ‘The Dead Dance.’”

Lovely! Let’s start with the elephant in the room:

Well, this all appears to be in order. You’ve gotta figure that asking Gaga to participate in anything goth-themed is going to result in the most eye-popping goth-inspired look you’ve ever laid eyes on. The… jumpsuit? We think? Is pretty gorgeous, and the fact(?) that it ends in harem pants is pretty inspired. The hat’s ridiculous and we half-wonder if it’s something left over from the truncated Joker: Folie a Deux tour, given the slightly harlequinified effect of it. Still, she looks exactly how you’d expect Gaga to look for this, which is to say that she look pretty amazing.

That shredded t-shirt effect can go pretty cheap and tacky, but it works really well with the design and the textile. It was a smart choice for her to tone down her fashion a little. She’s a player, but she’s smart enough to know when to cede the stage to a master. She looks super hot.

Kind of an odd choice for the occasion, but we guess she wanted to stand out a little. The jeans are pretty great, but that stiff-looking top is kind of unflattering.

That dress looks entirely too complicated for such a flimsy, tiny thing, but the overall look is so strong and well-suited to her that we don’t really mind the fussy design. Love the eye makeup.
