Heidi Klum Spills on Her Sexy Marriage, Motherhood and More in Tell-All Interview Ahead of Project Runway Return
From lingerie shopping with her “gorgeous” husband to sunbathing topless, the supermodel, who is back on ‘Project Runway’ July 31, is living her best life at 52

It’s no secret that Klum greets everything in her orbit with a sunny disposition — and a heavy dose of sex appeal. She’s the ultimate hype woman, whether singing Euro club bangers (on key!) as she bewitches the camera or opening up about a rogue nipple hair that just won’t quit during a wildly candid discussion on aging. She is unapologetically herself. Get on board or Auf Wiedersehen.
“People always say, ‘You probably got more confidence as you’ve gotten older,’ but I have always been confident,” Klum tells PEOPLE in our exclusive cover interview. “I have no problem walking around in my underwear. I’m not hiding in a corner.”

‘The Gilded Age’s Louisa Jacobson Addresses Marian’s Actions & How She Influenced Script So Viewers Wouldn’t “Write Her Off As Prudish”
SPOILER ALERT! This story contains details from the latest episode of The Gilded Age titled “If You Want To Cook an Omelette.”
So much for a breezy and joy-filled engagement!
During a conversation with the footman Jack Trotter (Ben Ahlers), Marian (Louisa Jacobson) discovers that her fiancé Larry (Harry Richardson) may have left out key details about his evening out on the town.
When she discovers that Larry had actually visited a house of ill repute, she makes the hasty decision to end their engagement via a Dear John letter while Larry is off in Arizona making deals to save the family business. Here, Louisa Jacobson explains her character’s impulsive behavior and how she ultimately persuaded the writers to better explain why Marian chose to end it with her dapper neighbor.

Not To Be Dramatic, But The Paparazzi Are Ruining Movies For All Of Us
Obviously, paparazzi taking pictures of TV and movie stars while they film is nothing new (especially when they’re doing it in New York City, in broad daylight), but thanks to the ubiquity of Instagram, X, and every other social media app slowly sapping years off of my lifespan, it feels like there’s been a shift in just how widely those pictures are disseminated – and how quickly they’re absorbed by the Discourse, for better or for worse.

How Sofia Carson Became Netflix’s First Bona Fide Movie Star
A decade ago, she had never stepped onto a feature-film set. Today, the Disney Channel alum sits atop a streaming empire, headlining some of Netflix’s most popular titles—and setting expectations high for her new project, My Oxford Year.

Sofia Carson knows how to make an entrance. Earlier this year, she descended from the rafters of the Kia Forum, landing onstage to host Netflix’s Tudum 2025, a much-hyped global fan event that streamed live to nearly 200 countries. “Of course that was my first request,” she tells Vanity Fair. “I would like to fly into the Forum, please and thank you. And we made it happen.”
Ten years ago, Carson hadn’t ever been on a feature-film set. Now the 32-year-old is one of the streamer’s most valuable movie stars. Carson got her big break through another corporate behemoth: She played Evie, the blue-haired teenage daughter of the Evil Queen, in Disney Channel’s smash hit Descendants musical movies. Once that trilogy concluded in 2019, she found a home at Netflix—beginning with the 2020 dance dramedy Feel the Beat, which she followed with 2022’s Purple Hearts, in which she played a liberal musician who agrees to marry a conservative soldier (Nicholas Galitzine) in order to get health insurance. That project, on which Carson also served as an executive producer and songwriter, reached number one on Netflix in 82 countries; its soundtrack became the platform’s most streamed on Spotify.

A Lace Skirt is the Simplest Solution to Summer Fashion Fatigue—and These 5 Looks Prove Why
All the cool girls are wearing them

Hands up if your jeans get more airtime than anything else in your wardrobe. Or perhaps you swap them out for linen trousers come summer. Either way, while the top half of your outfit may regularly rotate between tank tops, t-shirts and statement shirts, if the bottom half stays relatively unchanged (read: trousers), you may be experiencing fashion fatigue. Luckily, the chicest of women have a solution—as always—and it’s time to turn your attention to lace skirts.
Striking the perfect balance between smart and casual—depending on how you style them—we’re starting to see lace skirts step in as the new go-to outfit base. A graphic tee suddenly looks effortlessly cool, a leather jacket lends a touch of boho, and a butter yellow shirt creates a look that will genuinely take you from day to night. The growing love for lace is hardly surprising, given it dominated the Autumn/Winter 2025 runways at Chloé, Saint Laurent, Fendi, Gucci, and Carolina Herrera.

I’m A Big Fan Of Underlashing, These Are Best Kits You Can Buy Right Now (and How To Use Them)
Lash extensions made easy

Out of all the different makeup products and tools on the market right now, there are very few that match up to the transformative effect that lash extensions have on any given makeup look. From Blink Brow Bar’s subtle enhancement of my natural lash line to a customisable full set at Nails & Brows Mayfair, over the years I’ve become quite the lash extension addict thanks to their ability to make my everyday makeup routine that little bit faster. However, if you’re like me (i.e. someone that often forgets to schedule in her beauty appointments on time) then you know that finding at-home alternatives for your regular beauty treatments is a game changer. Enter underlashing.
Unlike traditional lash strips, underlashing as the name suggests, involves applying false lashes, either as a strip or clusters, underneath your natural lash line rather than on top. The best underlashing kits, offer a natural, yet effective option that has now become a staple within my beauty regime.

I Save Money Between Manicures by Doing My Own Nails at Home—These Are Easily the Best Nail Extension Kits for a Salon-Fresh Feel
Plus, my top nail prep tips

I am rarely seen without a manicure. Having long nails has become a personality trait of mine, mainly because I spent so many years biting them that it still feels novel when I hear the click-clack of extensions on my phone screen. However, I’m also on a budget, so I can’t always afford a full salon visit. So in the meantime, I scratch the itch with one of these at-home nail extension kits.

Dr Scholl’s Granny-Chic Clog Sandals are Set to Be Your Next Cult Buy
Even Carrie Bradshaw can’t resist the orthopaedic shoe
If the fashion trends of the last few years have taught me anything, it’s that there is absolutely no item that I can confidently say I would never wear. From Labubu dolls to the toe ring trend, there’s nothing that can’t be made desirable once the style set get their hands on it. And the latest piece to fall into that category is—believe it or not—Dr Scholl’s orthopaedic clog sandals.
Clogs have been making their way back to the fashion fore for a few years now, with studded and heeled iterations cropping up in Copenhagen and Paris street style looks. But I knew the foot-health-conscious silhouettes were about to experience a boom when the Scholl brand collaborated with Balenciaga earlier this year on a line of normcore flats (with a few sleek stilettos thrown in too, of course).

Princess Kate and Prince William Might Trade “Peaceful Refuge” of Adelaide Cottage for a “Gothic-Revival Mansion” With a Tennis Court and Swimming Pool
George, Charlotte, and Louis will be fighting over bedrooms in King Edward VIII’s palatial home.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Kate Middleton and Prince William moved into the “modest” Adelaide Cottage, a small home in Windsor. It was later reported that the Prince and Princess of Wales wanted to be closer to Queen Elizabeth II in her “final months,” with suggestions they even planned to “renovate” the small property. Now, royal sources are claiming that Kate and William might move their family out of Adelaide Cottage, and into a gothic mansion in Windsor.
According to the Mail on Sunday, the Prince and Princess of Wales might leave their small family home, which has been a “peaceful refuge,” for Fort Belvedere, “a magnificent gothic-revival mansion nestled in a hidden corner of Windsor Great Park.”
The huge property sits on 59 acres of land, and apparently features somewhere between 30 and 40 rooms. Additional amenities include an outdoor swimming pool and a tennis court, the latter of which “is particularly appealing for Kate and Charlotte, both of whom are enthusiasts,” the publication reported.

Meet the Cast of ‘Washington Black’
Hulu’s miniseries adaptation of Esi Edugyan’s historical fiction novel follows a young genius as he escapes slavery.

Hulu’s new miniseries Washington Black is a must-watch for anyone who loves period dramas but is looking for a new take on the genre. (Or if you need your Sterling K. Brown fix while waiting for Paradise season 2.) Adapted from Esi Edugyan’s acclaimed novel, Washington Black follows the titular character, a brilliant Black boy born into slavery who dreams of becoming a genius inventor. The dual storylines follow Wash both as a boy on a globe-trotting journey from Barbados to Virginia to the North Pole, and as a young man falling in love while living free in 1837 Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Pirate Boots Are the Unexpected Trend That Will Take Over in Fall 2025
They will go surprisingly well with your boho dresses.

Get ready: Pirate boots are among the next big trends for Fall 2025.
To predict the future of fashion, we only need to look to the past. Formulas are reinvented time and again, and pirate boots are up next. If last year saw Medieval-core timidly emerge on the runways and red carpets, we’re moving forward a couple of centuries for fresh takes on the boots that would have once been stored in some buccaneer’s trunk. A curious trend, yes, but with a much-needed adventurous spirit for these times.

Destiny’s Child Reunites for Surprise Medley on Final Night of Beyoncé’s ‘Cowboy Carter’ Tour
Beyoncé did not let her “Cowboy Carter” tour ride off into the sunset without allowing Destiny’s Child to ride again, too. The crowd for the closing show of the tour in Las Vegas erupted when Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland stepped out on stage alongside Beyoncé near the end of the night for a medley that included a couple of the beloved girl group’s greatest hits.
The trio had not reunited since a similar group cameo when Beyoncé headlined Coachella in 2018 (pictured above). The members of Destiny’s Child went separate ways after a blockbuster run that ended with a final tour in 2005, and they’ve only come back together for a handful of quick reunions over the last 20 years.

The Hunting Wives on Netflix: The Soapy Drama’s Wild Ending, Explained
Warning: Spoilers for The Hunting Wives, ahead.
So, you’ve just went down The Hunting Wives rabbit hole and are wondering exactly what went down on Netflix’s soapy, sapphic series about a small-town murder in a conservative Texas town. Well, you’re in luck, because we’re about to break down exactly what happened to Abby (Madison Wolfe) at the hands of the titular Hunting Wives in the Netflix adaptation of May Cobb’s bestselling novel.

The Best Beaches in Puerto Rico Still Feel Like a Secret
It’s hard not to speak in clichés when describing Puerto Rico. After all, this is a landscape where white sand beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and lush jungles are kind of the thing. But if those descriptors do in fact appeal to your interests, it might be time to book a vacation to visit this Caribbean coastline. While there are countless destinations and activities to fill your travel itinerary with (from dancing at La Factoria to hiking in El Yunque National Forest), nothing quite compares to the best beaches in Puerto Rico.

The Best Wedding Cakes in Vogue
In need of wedding cake ideas? We’ve got a few. The ceremonious confection has, after all, been a tradition for millennia: its roots trace back to ancient Rome, where grooms would break a barley cake over their bride’s head to officialize their union. Thousands of years later, Queen Victoria served a royal icing cake to her bridal party for her marriage to Prince Albert—the earliest precedent of the all-white style that’s still commonplace today—whereas her son, Prince Leopold, is often credited with being the first person to serve a completely edible tiered cake on his wedding day in 1882. (A photograph of the historic cake, which is on display in Kensington Palace, shows it was decorated with putti figures holding bows and arrows.)

What Is Oyster Ice Cream? The Unexpected Treat Everyone Forgot About
Don’t worry, you won’t find it on a dessert menu.

Just like fashion, food and flavor preferences shift with the times. In the 1950s, gelatin-based dishes — from Jell-O salads to aspic — were all the rage. Today, however, many Americans shy away from that jiggly-yet-firm texture. Back then, onion sandwiches were dinner party fare, and turtle soup was a staple on fine dining menus.

The 5 Best Bagel Spots in NYC, According to a New Yorker
Using traditional methods to make memorable bagels, these spots stand out from the rest.

As a Texas transplant in New York City, I didn’t know how good a bagel could be until I moved to New York. Any bagels I ate growing up were sourced from the grocery store or Panera Bread at best, and my first bite of a true New York-style bagel borderline felt like an epiphany: Oh, this is what a bagel should be.
Now, as a New Yorker of six years, I know that not every bagel in the city is as good as the rest. The texture, flavor, and crust of these deceptively simple baked goods can vary widely — and there’s no better source for advice on where to get the best bagel than content creator, fellow New Yorker, and bagel aficionado Jeremy Jacobowitz.

Heroes: Viktor&Rolf
Three decades of the Dutch design duo’s legacy come into focus

For over thirty years, Viktor&Rolf have kept the fine line between art and fashion notoriously blurry. Since first forming the fashion house back in 1993, designers Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren have become next-gen geniuses in their own right, releasing couture creations and buzzed-about runway shows that skillfully bent the rules in the game of what could be versus what should be. “Our shows are usually quite conceptual and have a clear message. Sometimes we even use text in the garments to get the message across,” explain the designers on their approach to delivering a clear narrative. “For example, a collection based around the word ‘NO’, or a collection of romantic tulle evening dresses with quite aggressive slogans on them. A fashion statement, in our case, is not just clothing.”

Bend It Like Beckham sequel in the works more than 20 years after the original
“I’m pretty certain that everyone’s going to want to come back,” director Gurinder Chadha said.

Goal!
Gurinder Chadha is working on a prequel to Bend It Like Beckham, the 2003 sports cult classic about a young Indian woman (Parminder Nagra) whose dreams of playing pro soccer clash with her strict immigrant parents’ ideals.
In the comedy, Nagra starred as Jess Bhamra, a teenager who goes against her parents’ wishes and competes in matches in secret once she’s enlisted by fellow player Jules Paxton (Keira Knightley) for a semi-pro team. Jonathan Rhys Meyers also starred as Jess’ coach, Joe, whom she takes a liking to.
Stars Nagra and Knightley, as well as Archie Panjabi (who played Pinky) and Juliet Stevenson (Paula), are “aware that a sequel is being developed,” Chadha told Deadline, but “want to see a script before they commit.”

Romaine vs. Iceberg: Which Is Best for Salads, Tacos, Burgers, and More?
We settle the great lettuce debate.

Whether you’re layering a sandwich, crafting a chopped salad, or wrapping up a crunchy lettuce cup, romaine and iceberg are both go-to greens that bring crisp texture and cool freshness. When it comes to choosing between the two, is one better for you than the other? And which is best for your favorite dishes? Turns out that the preferred pick often depends on what you’re making—and what kind of crunch you’re craving.
