Once again, My Oxford Year stars Sofia Carson and Corey Mylchreest dressed in romance novel mode as they climbed to the top of the Empire State Building to promote the film. And by “romance novel mode” we mean that she is doing way too much and he’s barely doing anything at all.
He looks like the cater waiter working at the gala charity event that she’s hosting. We think she overdresses constantly, and as we explained in our last post, it means we tend to feature her less because inappropriate grandiosity can be awfully boring. And also, because it’s hard to argue that someone looks bad in a ballgown, even if she’s wearing it on a rooftop or a sidewalk. But we can’t say she’s not nailing the look here. It’s floaty and romantic and insanely impractical for the setting, but she looks gorgeous in it. Hate the bridesmaid shoes, though. A black strappy sandal would have been our rec.
