We are pleased to announce that, after we dubbed her the Queen of Overdressing, My Oxford Year star Sofia Carson course corrected for her appearance on Live with Kelly & Mark. Granted, she was still a bit overdressed, but it was overdressed in a different way.

Admit it: you weren’t expecting jodhpurs, were you? Nothing says “summer in the city” better than dressing like a stormtrooper for some totalitarian regime. Admittedly, there is a certain chicness to the look, and we’re a bit surprised to see her dressing this way for a rom com promotion (we’d have thought she was more of a theme-dressing kind of gal). We like this just for being so unusual, but we think it’s kind of nuts to wear it during the current heat wave in New York. While we admire the commitment to serving, there’s nothing wrong with just throwing on a sundress and a pair of thong sandals and calling it good for the day.
