A somewhat random trio of stars came out to mark the observation of the 1500th performance of Cabaret, which is a nice reminder that the entertainment industry will always find new ways to throw parties for itself. Not that we’re complaining, of course.

Why, Miss Jackson.* This may be the most chic you’ve looked in years. It would have been nicer if there were more distance between the shades of white, but we love the sort of slouchy impeccable vibe. The hair and hoops are the perfect cappers to the look.

We’re going to take the kind approach and assume she didn’t know there was going to be a red carpet. Granted, she really should have known better, but we think the outfit, the hair, and most importantly, the facial expression all make it clear she got caught out. On the other hand, this isn’t even a decent look for picking up your dry cleaning. Whether she knew she was going to be photographed or not, it’s a public event and she looks awful.

And that’s us taking the kind approach.

Leanin’ Eddie is definitely the sort who could pull off an ascot, but we don’t see the point in trying to make it work with a lawyer suit. You need something a little dandier than a basic navy blue suit here. Nice watch, though.
