Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Joseph Quinn, Pedro Pascal, and Vanessa Kirby
The stars of Fantastic Four: First Steps came out to dazzle the fans in Berlin.
Everyone seems very happy, but we’re here to be bitches to them.
First: We’re not sure why Ebon and Joseph are making these choices. The looks have been a little stuffy and dressy for a series of events and promotions that don’t really call for it. Like, you don’t need to be wearing a tweed Valentino suit for a superhero fan event in July. But Ebon’s suit is nice enough. We hate the sweater, though. We can accept brown in fashion, but yellow and brown is a combination that should be strenuously avoided. As noted, Joseph seems a little too formal. Worse: his pants are way too long. We don’t think either the tie or the shirt work all that well with the suit. Pedro continues to get it right. While it might behoove Superman to show up to his premieres in suits, the average superhero film doesn’t call for that level of stuffiness. We love the sort of louche flamboyance of his look, although we’re not convinced black dress shoes were the right way to go. Her dress is giving “belly harness” and honestly, that’s not a bad way to go in her state. The hip cutouts are ugly, though.
